Cintra-led Hellenic Autopistas signs E65 DBFM

Hellenic Autopistas - a consortium comprising Cintra (33.34%), ACS Group (33.33%) and GEK (33.33%) - signed the 30 year concession with the Greek Government for the Eu1.5 billion E65 central Greece motorway DBFM on 31 May.

BBVA, EFG, Fortis, Caja Madrid, Piraeusbank and Santander are providing financing which comprises Eu950 million in

• Review of tariffs: Annually in line with CPI
• Estimated construction period: 66 months
• Start-up: Expected for the end of 2009 when the part of the road to be built by the government is transferred.
• Tolling system: Barrier system, the Central Greece segment will have four toll plazas on the main road and various lateral toll plazas; the Pathe segment will have two plazas on the main road and various lateral toll plazas.
• Consortium: GEK Group (33,33%), Cintra (33,34%), Grupo ACS  (33,33%)
